I have the good fortune of being able to ride a lovely tb X mare. Any way no point to this post other than to say had a great lesson on her today..feel very good if a little achey.
Excellent!
I know how good it feels - I've just come back from a fab lesson on my horse. Even though it was in the pouring rain, Jerry was brilliant.
We did lots of canter work then finished with doing walk pirouettes which Jerry did first time perfectly! He must have been very well educated before I got him - I'd love to take the credit for his beautiful schoolwork but the truth is, I have never even attempted a walk pirouette before!
yey well done you. It's a wonderful feeling when EVERYTHING goes just right and they do all that you ask!! I just know that she wont want to lull me into a false sence of security though, she'll have something up her sleeve for next time

LOL! They do that just to keep you on your toes! In my previous lesson I wasn't ready for Jerry to do things wrong as he'd been so good before then so just to prove a point he tanked off with me round the school when we cantered and finished with a couple of bucks!
Today I was ready for him but he was just brilliant - didn't put a foot wrong. I'm the one who gets things wrong but I suppose that's why I'm having lessons!
