Last yr my yearling filly took 1.5hrs to load up, and even then had to be shoved in LOL. Couldn't get her in, and she pulled back against pressure, and would pull back if pushed from behind. Would try and spin/rear round if pushed my luck We have travelled her round trip and back home again.

So I decided I needed some extra help for training this summer as I want to take her out and not miss my class this year due to the loading issues

So I ask my friend Zoe (think she lurks on here) for her loading advice. She loves loading training and arranged to meet me

Emptied the trailer out and opened it up. Showed her how Galena isn't scared of the trailer but won't get back end on ramp, and I didn't want it to be an issue.

Handed her over to Zoe, who worked her charm on her with gentle but persistant pressure & release tactics (Galena can be a bit stubborn when she wants to be, tried the backing up at 100mph trick, the stuck in quicksand trick, the stick head up so i can't possibly fit trick, and the digging hole trick.). Within 1/2hr she was in and out happily, then we swapped over, success, and then swapped back again for some putting the ramp up whilst horse inside practise, and again she didn't bat an eyelid !

Thankyou Zoe for coming, and I'll certainly recommend you
