Had a lovely cuddle with my boy yesterday

He held his head in my arms and I gave him a longgg cuddle and kiss And when I took him back out, he stood at the gate for a while and we had a little chat before going off to play. This would never have happened when I first got some I'm really pleased with him. Riding work is still coming along (we're progressing...slowly!) but I feel that we're getting somewhere

I did too - my boy is turned away at the moment so I love any cuddle time we get since I dont spend so much time with him any more.

He can be quite headshy (although is improving) and isn't a particularly cuddly boy on any day...but yesterday he was being very loving

If we had a like button I would press it! Cuddled mine yesterday as well, not much else to do in all the snow!

I felt a bit guilty admitting this. There is probably a reason we shouldn' t cuddle - someone on here will say "Treat the horse like a horse not a baby" "Dont let him invade your space" but I enjoy it and he seems to do so too. I have to have some good things about looking after a horse that is costing me a fortune to keep, who cant be ridden at the moment and with weather as bad a this.
