Just an update as some people have been asking about him

Well, for some of you that dont know about osk, he has got arthritis, from an early injury on his coffin joint (left leg) and both fetlocks and also got ring bone. He had special shoes with resin filling in the frog area put on last week and we have already see a vast improvement =]
Today he had the first of his steroid injection into his coffin joint, as vet said this is probably where the major part is. (we dont really want to have all three done, and see that only one joint is causing it!)
We have to walk him for 2 weeks for about 30 mins each day (!!!!!!), and then try him in trot in the school. If sound, then wahay! if not then we will try another steroid injection in one of the fetlocks. then if not sound then, in the other fetlock!
TBH i am quite pleased about it, but i just hope that this works!!!
xx

Thats fantastic news! I have just got home from the yard, he had his feet done and then had an injection into the coffin. Been told to rest him for a week then ride for 20 mins a day the increase to 30...fingers crossed, i am over the moon that i can even sit on him again!
