Had my first ride on Gerry tonight

Bless the little man, he was quite excited about being in his new home. He's certainly a little sharper than Daisy and Lil!

Managed to end on a positive note though. Am uploading videos as we speak so you can see the little man.

It was all quite fast in the end. Lil sold on Sunday, I'd already been to see Gerry and fallen in love so he came straight away.

He was sold as 17hh but is actually 17.2, 8yo Westphalian, black. Has been doing BSJA and hunting. Is a real gentle giant.

Bit of a slippery eel to ride but hoping he should be a different horse again in a few days once he's settled in.

Don't have any pics but vid is uploading as we speak. He doesn't look much atm but the paces are there, just needs to balance and build up some muscle.
