I have posted before about my poor youngster who has had teeth problems which then resulted into other issue and I had a physio out to him who was a complete waste of money (£80 for 15 mins) and frightend me to death telling me my horse was lame etc etc.
Anyway, I had a osteo out as he has been alot better but still not tracking up as well as i would expect and he is now fitter but i want to know he has no problems as i want to compete on him later this year.
She was fantastic, best £45 i have ever spent on any of my horses and she was with us for 1 1/2 hours!!
Again it all stems from the pain he had from his teeth and ulcers. He holds himslf like he is bracing from the pain still and it has caused him alot of muscle tension from his pelvis >back. She used a hand held massager (equissage one) for ages and he kept kicking out where it was obviously painful but all of a sudden he dropped his head and started to yawn! she gave me a programme to follow and will come back in 6 weeks to see that he has improved. She said the autumn was a good goal for competing.
She also said that he would be perfect for jumping/eventing or even showing (me show!! LOL) as he has fab conformation. No one has ever really complimented him before so it was nice as he is a handful.
Im so happy now knowing he is fine and I can help him I dont need to spend loads, and also i havent broken my horsey who cost me lots!!
Thanks if you have read to here and the moral of this is dont believe the seller if they say there teeth have been done!!
