Had such a good lesson today!

Had my first riding lesson with Cassie in AGES and she was an angel (apart from doing a massive spook, spinning around and running away from the 'scary bush'...lol!!)

Found out she is not stiff at all, apparently moves very well for a 14 year old! All we need to do is getting her working more in an outline and rounder in herself as she isn't working on the correct bend in canter on one rein. Though I must say there was much improvement even after only an hours lesson so happy!

I had a positive lesson too - managed to master walk to canter on a horse I've always found hard to get into canter, even from trot. Only a small thing but it's a good step for me.

It's so nice to feel you're getting somewhere isn't it?!

Even the smallest things can make you come out of a lesson feeling like you've just conquered the world!! Definitely feels so good when you overcome something!
