I havent ridden Bondi for ages, as I felt he was a bit too much for me but his owner called me in the week and asked if I'd like a lesson on him so I thought why not!
And he was a superstar. The last time I rode himin the school, I was terrified. The thought of trotting him brought me out in a cold sweat let alone cantering him.
Yesterday we worked on direct transtions on circles, to get me to relax with him and get him listening to me and working properly.
And we cantered.
He didn't feel too strong, he felt very under control and felt very calm. He was working beautifully and I cant wait to have my next lesson on him.
