I went out for a hack with my sister, with me being on my little pony who we brought back. We were walking along a country lane when there was this tractor thing trimming the hedging, now before we sold the pony he was bomb-proof as he used to be kept in a very busy area but i don't think the girl who we sold him to took him out on the roads in 3 yrs! So sisters horse goes past fine (nice tractor man has turned off tractor for us so i thank him) then pony stops, starts reversing up, when he does this it's very hard to stop as if you kick he reverses more etc so the only way to make him go forward is if he wants to go forward.
So backwards we go, bum starts to dip!!!! Well there are some VERY deep ditch/dyke type things along this road, at least two ponies deep!!! My sisters is shouting to kick him or something like that- apparently i had the face of fear!! all i ws yelling was 'i'm gonna go in the ditch!!!' well i did go in the ditch...right down! I was having one of my worst riding fears come true! But then pony, who is practically a dog walks out and potters off down the road!! Silly pony!!
