Had THE most amazing morning :-)

I started sharing a horse last week, a 17.3 ISH, his owner events him.

He is the most amazing horse ever, i have never ever tried XC before because 1) I am a bit of a wuss when it comes to jumping and 2) i have always had horses with problems so never had the opportunity to try it with them.

The horse I now share is stabled at an eventing centre so today i decided to take my boy down and have a play on the XC course, i was a bit nervous to start with so started off on the baby jumps, he gave me so much confidence that i then ended up jumping the 3ft 3 jumps, the steps in and out of the water, the ledge into the water, the steps up the hill and loads more.

I am on such a high and just wanted to share

Why is your horse broken!?

Oh he did a tendon pratting about in the field. Won't be ridden again. He was the most awesome cross country horse I've ever ridden

Have a youngster to work with at the moment but he's not ready for cross country yet; needs to work out how many legs he's got and where they should go first

Oh what a shame, I'm sorry to hear that.

I'm sure that once your youngster is ready for it, he will be awesome too.

Someone did take pics but on their camera, I only have one on mine which is of when we first arrived at the course :-/
