Quite possibly one of the nicest Elz and I have ever had! We must have covered at least 15 miles, and went up to a monument I have always wanted to ride to. This meant crossing the A4 - quite a busy road - but Ellie was an absolute angel! Do you ever have times when everything else just pales into insignificance? For me, rides like this morning are what having horses are all about!

Me too, the weather was lovely, ground conditions perfect, I'm hoping to squeeze another long one in tomorrow afternoon after the rain

Likewise, but in the school

But madam has gone from being an overfresh loony on Monday and a stroppy old bag on Tuesday back to her sweet self, willing to try anything asked of her and politely ignoring the digger/post driver putting in new gates 100yds away!

Plus it was the most gorgeous morning to ride, no howling wind for a change.

Only downside is I'm now struggling to concentrate on work and I've got loads to do cos we're going away for the weekend!

Me too - rode this afternoon and Jerry was very much on his toes - must be the spring grass beginning to come through.
Hopefully the weather won't be too bad this weekend as I want to get out on some more hacks.
