My little tb's "companion" has grown beyond all belief and is a rather opinionated young lady.... my tb - is a unsocilised thug.... nothing nasty he just has not got a clue of horse behaviour after being in a race yard for many of his early years.... after a few rather bad kicks - the tb does not realise that ears back and backing up means dont bite her bum again ! - I have now had to seperate them in the field. The mare has a little friend and i have made the paddock into 2 half moons so they can move around the field together but seperate if you know what I mean, they both have shelter and access to the water trough - but I just feel 
- do you think another companion is needed - more to make me feel better.... or will he be ok.
