i had to have the vet this morning, when i got to the yard one of the other liveries stopped me on the drive, to tell me twisty had a nasty kick on his face, so i flew up to the field, it didnt look like a kick but more like a graze, was quite swollen and weeping and nasty looking, so i had the vet out, who cleaned it up but...
it wasnt a kick but .... A CHEMICAL BURN!
my poor horsey now has no fur and horrible blistered skin on a large part of his face
i checked all round the field nothing that i could see that would have caused it, and hes the only one in the field that has it, however, he is also the only one that will happily go up to anyone that goes into the field
