Haflinger Tack - Help!

Does anyone know anything about Haflinger tack, in particular the embroidery / braiding found on the traditional Austrian harnesses / halters?
I would ideally like to know the stitch and thread used to create this embroidered / braided effect.
Any help very gratefully received.

I tried to find one a couple of years back for my haffie. One company had one mail order advertised but then it never came in stock and now they dont advertise in UK any more.

If anyone knows where you can get them Id love to know. They have the ultra wide cheekpiece with the green and red embroidery.

i dont know much about the leather work but if you have any pics I know someone that will make it for me/you if you are interested?

This company (US) do baroque harness, in the Gallery (scroll down) they have the haflinger bridle.

They may be able to help, if not, there are some very pretty horses to look at anyway
