I have a hairy cob and he has a very hairy mane! I love it, however where his rug is/where the top of my saddlecloth comes/where my reins rub, his mane has rubbed away
It is not around 5 inches, but the rest of his mane is around 10 and it looks very messy when plaited! Any home-grown recipes to help? Another hair loss, the little darling decided to rub his legs, just above his hocks on either his manger or the field fence. He's made a mess of himself and got right the way down to the skin, so he's all bristly there now
Again, how can I get it to grow back?
Finally, I HATE HORSES MOLTING!!!!!!!!!!! Spent forever with a rubber curry comb to no avail, but was suggested to get a grooming block - would that help? I feel mean stripping him of his hair when it's barely reaching 4 degrees over here!
