Hair loss and advice welcome

hi everyone always love some of the tips i get from here so any advice welcome.

My TB i train has come up in dry patchy skin....slight hair loss. Started with a small patch on his shoulder so did the norm smalll wash with hibis scrub etc, I was away for a week and his owner failed to notice it spreading grrrrr.

It's not terrible or itchy just small dry patches all over. Vet had a look "HAS NO IDEA" theres a suprise ....but not ring worm etc.

My thoughts
allergy to what rug was washed in
seasonal alopicia.......but I thought this was a spring thing
just simple dry patching skin due to bad weather hot cold etc.

Anyone else had similar ?????????

Where is it - could it be something rubbing?

If it isn't spreading, I would maybe give it a little bit of time - and stop using anything he maybe allergic too.

If it is spreading, then I might try some protective/anticeptic cream and see what happens. I guess if the vet has seen it, it isn't lice.

Thanks it's really annoying as he looks like crap but physically and muscually doing better than ever and when he was first clipped he was shinny I go away for a week grrrrr
