Lots of viewings in Vet topic, but no replies as yet, so I guess no-one has come across this - but just in case you have ... I'm trying here as well! My mare is losing her undercoat in patches over her neck and shoulders, leaving patches which are very obvious, with only long top hairs and no undercoat. I remember our grey pony having the same thing several years ago, so it seems like its something to do with greys??? If you have come across something similar, and have got any treatment suggestions, please let me know!
