Hair today

Last night I washed two numnahs - after trying to brush the hair off them. This morning the inside of the machine, both numnahs and my kitchen floor are coated with horse hair. Albeit shiny clean horse hair. Where does it all come from? I didn't think there was that much on the horses

Any tips on how to wash a numnah and deal with it's spring moult?

Nope...........Just make sure you do someone elses washing after a 'horse' wash.

Buy a wash bag designed to wash horse/pet things in

I've got one, its fab, after I've taken his numnahs out to put to dry I just empty the hairs out the bag down the loo. Mine is a very fetching bright orange. Ride Away do one, but if you just do a google search for pet hair and laundry bags I'm sure one will pop up!!

got the same in bright orange and it works really well (also helps protect machine from buckles of rugs aswell)

hoover the numnah and then wipe out the machine afterwards, alternately buy a horse that doesnt moult!
