Hairy legs!

Any good tips for trimming feathers off without getting choppy stepped look? Sissors or clippers?

Trimmers with a length guard on them. It means that you can select how short you trim them, and makes it look more natural.

scissors and comb and every week if they are really hairy and horse does not appreciate clippers. Our cobs hair blunts the wonderful trimmers you get - but perhaps its just him being extra manly!!! Make sure you cout hair at a slight angle when thrugh comb and not straight across and do it again over same place at a diff angle.

I just clip my horse's off! He actually loves having his legs clipped - it's the only time he stands still!
