I've just been looking at horse for sale ads and found one described as "part bread". Is that the same thing as half baked? :D

also saw several "out of" stallions. how does that work?

Some good ones on here but the worst and actually quite sad really I have seen was the "Retired Heavy Horse For Sale" that I saw advertised locally a few months ago, we inquired as we were thinking of a companion and what we were told was quite simply the heavy horse was a 4 yr old Welsh D mare that was very very very fat (i.e heavy) and retired because she was a) so massively fat and b) had shocking feet. My dreams of owning a Shire or Percheron were gone! I did follow up my first call a while later and was told she had gone to a good home so I hope that's the case.

A giggle was on Dragon Driving ages ago there was a "spotty botty" which was, as the advert told you, a special type of Appaloosa which had, well, a spotty botty!
