I'm having a few issues with our attempts at half pass, which will hopefully be addressed in my lesson next week but I was hoping for a few tips to try before then 
On the left rein I struggle to keep my inside bend. It's my weak side and not helped by the fact that Jerry has the same problem on that rein
I've been doing a 15m circle before going along the long side but we end up going off course, which is probably my fault rather than Jerry's.
The other issue I have is getting the little swine to listen to my leg and move over rather than go faster. I've been holding my schooling whip in my outside hand to try to back up my leg but then I lose my bend
I don't have the same issues with leg yielding - he responds nicely to me asking him to move over in both directions.
I got a few lovely steps on the right rein last night and it felt amazing
Poor Jerry - he knows what to do. I obviously haven't found the right buttons just yet
