Hi All
I'm looking for idea's as to where to keep my horse for around a year.
I have a 16.3 warmblood, lovely easy chap who lives at home.
However I am about to start a big building project that will take up a lot of my time & mean that for around 12 months I won't have stables & menage & I would feel rather mean turfing the poor chap out to rough it over the winter.
I'm looking for idea's as to where I could keep him maybe on a working livery or share arrangement so that it doesn't cost the earth & he gets more exercise than I will have time for (finances will be a bit tight during the project so could really do with not shelling out the cost of full livery with exercise & likewise the project is going to take up a lot of my time, combined with working full time & being used to having him on my doorstep I need to be realistic about how much time I have).
I wondered if anyone knows of anywhere that takes horses on working livery or maybe even someone who has a spare stable & is lacking a ride who might consider a share type arrangement (btw he's not a novice ride in that he is big moving & forward going, he is also a bit rusty at the moment due to my time constraints, he has the tricks there such as changes, lateral work etc. but it's not exactly polished!)
Any idea's/suggestions of where he could live for a while much appreciated.
