Halloween Dress up?

Okay so this year we are having a horse and rider dress up on Halloween. I was thinking of dressing my grey gelding up as a Nazgul's horse and myself as a Nazgul. Does any one have any other ideas or ideas on making the costumes? They have to be cheap to make and was thinking about using Lycra for his legs.

I think that a big, black, hooded cape is essential for the costume.

How about one of the cheap versions of the snuggy hood face and neck covers in black, you could probably glue something on to make the bit that goes over the nostrils?
