Halloween ODE tomorrow... costume issues!

Anyone got any quick tips for making/fitting a witches hat over a skull cap?! Have a plain black cover but it's not the same... Not had much time/money to prepare & struggling somewhat! Probably left it a bit late but been busy/ill all week so I've not given it much thought. Maybe I'll just dress the horse up!

How about cut the witches hat up the back and Lace a black ribbon through it to make it adjust to the right size for the helmet like a corset

If it was me, id make a cardboard cone and brim and paint it

Then again i sometimes like to pretend im creative and would spend hours painting cobwebs and spiders on it very badly! and then end up cutting up a witches hat and making it fit lol

Vodkagirly - I will lend you the horse if you like! I haven't gone because I felt far too ill this morning to be of any use to Dante, and didn't think it was fair to make him put up with me making it difficult for him! Done that twice already at diff. things this year and it's not so fun for either of us.
Thanks for all the tips though everyone... at least I've got a whole year to prepare my costume now
