Just wondered if anyone fancied a Hampshire meet up soon with doglies? I'm North Hampshire so border with Wilts, Berks and Surrey.

Anyone fancy it?

I'm south hants and would be up for a meet up. Maybe mid hants?

Ok so where would mid Hants be? I think I may be more mid Hants as I'm in Andover.....so between Winchester, Basingstoke, Newbury and Salisbury!

I also drive.....maybe the forest or the plains? I'm open for ideas!

I've got a spaniel so water/mud etc is probably a necessity! :D

I'd love to, but weekends are better for me . . . got a border collie cross (we think she's crossed with a meerkat - no joke).

P

Can someone do a poll of location (mid/South/North Hants) so we can see where most folks are? I would, but I'm a numpty ;).

P

Lets keep it sort of basingstoke way then that is easier for those of you sussex/surrey and those on the south coast?

What's everyone up to next Saturday morning??

I'm happy with forest or Basingstoke way if people know the area for good walks? North Winchester is the South Downs which are good.

Weekends aren't great for me, sun ams are out but pms always free. Could probably wangle next sat though as it is half term (riding instructor so work diary is s bit odd!)

So everyone if you're interested.....next Saturday near Winchester. Put your name down and ill pm with details once I've worked out where to meet etc!

Another thought.... Queen Elizabeth country park? Or is that too far east? There are lots of CLEARLY signed walks there! Lol

Sounds great.

Can I just ask how far people want to go as mine aren't built for miles and miles of trekking and wouldn't want to spoil people's fun ?

There are some really lovely farm walks around Sutton Scotney/ Kings Worthy, but you need to know where you're going to access them really! Shame I've moved away and can't be your guide! :0(

The walk up over Highclere is dry, and has quite a lot of parking, plus right next to A34 for ease of access...

Great idea Polotash re. Highclere I'll look into it.

Confirmed date, next Saturday 3rd November. I reckon about 12noon for those who need to travel? I think flasks of tea and cakes will be available and if people want to walk 2 miles or 50, everyone is welcome and we can work out what we do once we meet! :D:D

Highclere seems to be dogs on lead policy......such a shame as that would have been lovely!
