I am trying to find out about a horse dealer (think quite a small business) from Hampshire - I don't want to name on here incase it's classed as defamatory but if anyone local to that area can contact me via PM and help I would be grateful.

Background is, she bought my pony 9 days ago and is selling him on at over double what she paid :-(

Thanks x

I keep my horse in the area but I don't know any dealers there.

Unfortunately, you can't do anything about that situation. You sold the pony - it's no longer yours to have anything to do with and the new owner/dealer can do as they wish.

Sorry if that's not what you want to hear. It's not nice to know but I'm afraid there's nothing 'illegal' about it.

I went to a dealer's yard when I was looking a couple of years back, around the Durley area. I didn't find anything dodgy though (maybe horses not quite as described but I was far more impressed by the woman that I was by the other dealer I went to up Lambourn way)
TBH though I agree with saskia, you have sold your pony now so it's up to the dealer how she sells him on - unless of course there is a veterinary reason your pony was sold at the price he was and said dealer is now selling on at the higher price without mentioning any problem?

so what is the problem???

Thanks for your honest answers, I didn't actually say I was going to do anything about it, although she has falsely advertised him and what he has done which I believe she can't do and which could ultimately cause damage to him or the new owner.
She's also failed to declare he can suffer from laminitis.
