Since we had a vet's appointment for one of the dogs today anyway, I went ahead and asked for their advice regarding equine vets. They suggested Hampton vets.

Just wondering if anybody has used or uses them, and if so, what their experience and opinion of them were?
Particularly regarding vetting, currently.

Thanks!

hi
I use them for my dogs etc, the horse and farm side is separate section so they are specialised equine. I havent called them out for the horses purely because even though I moved close by the vets I already used will come out to me. I am registered, use them for worm counts etc and would use them in an emergency where I didn't want to wait 40 minutes for my vet.
I hear good things and I have used them to vet a pony which went well, he pointed out certain things but I chose to go ahead. funnily enough what he was concerned about hasn't been a problem (2 very small scar tissue type sarcoids) but what i was concerned about has developed but not in a critical way (she coughed in the stables, though the barn was very dusty- she does have a pollen related COPD (or whatever they call it now) her chest was clear at the time and i took the risk.
they are good to deal with overall and if my current vet ever left her practice i would swap over to them without worry.
not loads of help
