Handing in your notice at a livery yard?

Why am I so scared to do this? The YO is lovely but can get seriously funny! She helped me out of a sticky situation, have only been there 4 mOnths but it's not working for me. Scared.com

Oh and my mum won't do it for me!!!

haha I've always felt the same, with yards and jobs! I've normally ended up crying as well! I'm sure the YO will be fine about it! Good luck

You can either just hand in your notice - a month is normal. Or if YO a bit of a fruitcake I would find a yard first, then I would pay a month in lieu of notice at current yard and move immediatley if you are worried about your horse.

The last person who handed notice was asked not to do too many trips back and forth up drive or they would wear out the Tarmac....

She wouldn't do anything to horses and have another yard, contract says months notice so full prepared to pay etc

Have a yard ready to go to. Be packed up with only essentials at the yard so you are ready to move at a moments notice .... and of course man up and hand them a bit of paper!!!!
