Anyone got any tips for groundwork and handling tips for a young Stallion he is very good 99% of the time but tends to explode when it gets to much and very hard to snap him out of it tried back up to which he reared (never does this) spinning on tight circle, a sharp jolt, a loud clap, and a smack to which he carry's on in he's own world he has only ever done it badly once and is still young and coming on leaps and bonds but did have 3 geldings galloping around a field he was being walked past. I'd like to take him out showing and I don't want a repeat of the melt down moment. I am learning the ropes and having a weekly trainer. Just some helpful suggestions on what you found the best way to keep them focused. Thank youu

Do you handle him in a bit or chiffney, but to be fair most horses will have a silly moment if there were 3 horses hooning about in a feild near to being led, well all that ever had would of :D
He still is only young and in my experance young horses are going to have there moments.
I haven't shown for years but it used to be stallions had to be bitted for handling on ground and showing I imagine it will be the same :)

Yes he is always bitted :) Wouldn't dare take him for an in-hand hack without :) I have two one is very placid- melt down however not so. It was he's screaming, snorting and sillyness that led to the horses hooning ! Silly boy but it then escalated to walking on back feet and becoming very bargy he moves you over with he's shoulders which is pretty rude and we find it hard to move him away from me when he's head's facing the way I want him to move and shoulders are doing the opposite. It doesn't help they grow a few hands haha!
