Well the girls got the ok to go back out on restricted grazing. Only trouble being they decided to eat the fence due to lack of grass! As the grazing is not mine, and I do not pay rent for it, I certainly didn't want to upset the owner, so the girls are sporting new fashion accessories, and happy to have a lot more room to roam about in;

What on earth have we got on?

Painted whole fence with cribox - made no difference. Mares are determined to eat fence. Even tried two different brands! One ate her stable as well. Yard/fields belong to a very good friend, and he was ok about it - he loves having the horses around, and forgave them their destruction rampage.

They'll get over it!
In the background of the picture of my yearling is his mum - they have quite different grazing needs but share a paddock - she has been living in hers on and off for the last couple of years - only gets turned out without it in the middle of winter
