Hannah update - again!

Yeah, I do like working with boys too! Esp. still miss B's Dad, He would have been 20 this year! I also prefer to be up and about during the day......... hey ho............
 
OMG Becki if you stopped posting on Hannah's progress, I think i'd die with the suspense.

0230 tonight get ready! Tee hee.
Wouldn’t advise squeezing her udders – though I’m sure you haven’t done any harm if it was only a bit – tie your hands behind your back!  Running milk means literally that, you will see dried milk all down the backs of her legs if she is. It sounds like Hannah isn’t from what you have said. And whilst they don’t always wax up, in my humble experience it is more common that they do. The wax looks like candle wax or glue and forms nodules on the end of the teats. If she waxes up there will be no mistaking it.
The fact that she wanted to come back in is interesting, horses will always chose a quiet and safe place to foal, hence why this is usually at night. She may be wanting the security of her stable – I take it she doesn’t normally mind going out?
I’d be watching her like a hawk today! It is still more than likely that she will foal at night though…
 
NO we are not, Becki, keep them coming! - all of us who have mares due to foal in a few weeks time are just hanging on your every word, and just grateful that you update us so often. Mind you, the suspense and tension are getting to me, and she's not even my mare, so I hate to think what you are feeling! It does help if you have a good nights sleep though. Must have been the double vodka that we sent your way! <grin>
 
Sallyf... ooo, bugger! Why are they so unpredictable!!!

I still have a feeling in my waters that it will be after the weekend yet, don't ask me why, I just do. I think that is why I feel a bit more chilled out today, because I know nothing exciting is going to happen.

I will take some photos of her tonight when I go back up to the yard to muck the two out and ride Disgrace. Then you can have a look and see what you think about her shape changing.

Thanks everyone for not getting fed up of me... I know most of my friends and family have done long ago!
