Hannah update - Tuesday

Mine started all that at 4pm on a friday and had her foal at 10.30pm on the Sunday. Although one of our others started showing signs at 5pm and had it at 6.30pm - they are a law unto themselves. I expect she will probably have it at 10.15pm tonight as she knows you are going out!

Mine did the pawing of the bed, rolling, looking at belly one night - then foaled exactly a week later

Once the milk has turned white it will start to taste sugary rather than of nothing (dont ask!!) From my own experience last year the milk will be running without any help! But every mare is different

Even I'm getting exhausted for you! Don't think she'll be too long though; the bed digging could have been cos she's uncomfy how the foal's laying/moving BUT be prepared for a totally trashed and wet bed afterwards; I'd have your spare bales handy so you don't have to lug them too far the next morning!
It's sod's law that if you go to demo, she'll have it; if you don't go she won't - I'd be getting someone to tape it for me I think!!

hurry up hannah

Thanks guys... I am determined to go to the demo because I sort of know deep down that she is not ready to have Hanlette just yet. Plus, I am the one who organised it amongst my friends (it was originally in novemeber but he had an accident) so need to be there.
