Hello :)

So, Bracken is fine. He had multiple xrays today, on both front legs-absolutely nothing wrong with joints or bones. No OCD, no elbow dysplasia. They also took a fluid sample from his shoulder which was clear.

He is however very, VERY sore in that shoulder-vet said he fought out despite the sedation when it was manipulated. Vet thinks therefore it is soft tissue-a rip or a tear maybe.. So, 2 weeks lead walks and anti inflammatories, then back for a check up.

So, VERY good news, although still sad that pup is so sore! He's home now on the sofa whining and moaning and generally feeling sorry for himself!

Thanks for everyone who replied :)

I literally dont know how its even going to be possible. Just lots of quiet lead walks and then loads of bones, chews, kongs etc... Eeeek :S

That's great news and I would really recommend getting a visit from a physio for him. Honestly, we could not believe how our dog went from lame to sound within the day after treatment when she'd been lame on and off for weeks and vets found nothing. Don't know where you are in the country but I am sure someone could suggest a decent animal physio near you who could really help relieve your dogs discomfort.

Our dog basically did herself an injury by being a loon and hooming about.
