:D Bit late in the day I know!
Hope you have all had suitably lovely days and that the AAD dogs have all had a nice christmas too.
I have had a suprisingly lovely day. I usually hate christmas at the best of times and this was my first alone so thought it would be worse than ever! It was actually top class not having any stress and doing things as I wanted! I got up about 7 and opened presents with the dogs (Flora was hoiking them out of the stockings before I had even boiled the kettle for my morning cuppa  :p) I also had a box of lovely pressies to open myself thanks to the wonderful Cayla cow face :p :D :D Got dressed and headed to the yard to do the horse about 8 (sporting my new hat and scarf) and then back for a sit down and a bit of a play with the dogs and their toys, then out for a nice long walk (when the OH was here they always used to miss a decent walk xmas day....cos it was obviously a waste of his precious time and was too busy rushing me about so he could drink more quicker I think!) Back home they virtually passed out from all the excitement and I washed up and got changed to go back to the YO's house for lunch, presents a drop of port and some banter (this is where me and OH used to go every year anyway...he wasnt there this year fortunately! :p)
Lovely relaxed day on the whole...until I got home at 7 ish and the kitchen sink was blocked...have spent the last hours upon hours plunging, pouring stuff down it, dismantling the unit to get the trap off...all to no avail! Finally just sorted the issue, my outlet pipe (in its several inches thick of concrete) was frozen solid! Lots of boiling water over the concrete and a pokey stick have just done the trick!
So me and (perhaps most importantly to me) the doglets have had a lovely christmas. I'm now sat with a coffee by the fire, Tilly is asleep upside down (christmas is her one excited day of the year...next year I will film her, I forget what shes like every year! Very comical!) Flora is upsidedown with her new squeaky fluffy dinosaur in her gob, Ellie is throwing some fluffy pink thing around the dining room and best of all Milo is sat on my lap having a cuddle. I have several times today looked at him and thought that having him here this christmas is the best present I could have asked for. :D
xxxxxx

Sounds like u have a good day :), the wine by the way, was any old *****e, literally the first suff I could pick up and this year I went to a local store cos last year 2 places refused to serve me with Careys wine last year:mad: im no wine drinker so it probably tastes like vinegar:D
I also tried to get me grandad some ciggies, and again was refused (how damn embarrasing) and I dont look under 25 (Im sure BrownMare can clarify) please!!!!!!!:D
I got the hat and scarf to make u look like a tit, hope it did:rolleyes::D

Im glad little miley is home with u too:)

I of course went home from the never ending shift, to OH mams for dinner then shot across to my mams, and then came back to work:( was so tired I slept her asoon as I came in waking to answer the calls and nodding back off, then watched carrey, now Im wide awake:(

Glad you had a good day, can't beat doing exactly what you want on Christmas Day, and Milos being there must have been the best present. Don't know if you are sad enough to watch the soaps but there was a mention about the dangers of giving chocolate to dogs on Coronation Steet, hopefully that will get the message across to a few who wouldn't have known otherwise.
Would you like to come and unblock my bathroom sink, have tried unblocker down one end, and thawing outlet pipe the other without success
Cayla, I am exhausted just reading about your day, but hope it was a good one for you, your family and the pooches.

No Cayla, the hat and scarf made me look dead cool cos I'm a lush and can pull off any look I want :p :D Lmao...yea right! They look nice on though, I've got quite long hair now and was wearing it down yesterday, hat looked nice ontop of that...besides which it was minus 12 or something stupid so looks aside it kept my ears and head warm nicely! :D
Thanks for the warning on the wine, I will save it til you come to visit and then feed it back to you! lol I get ID'd all the time! They usually get the sharp end of my tongue and I never have ID on me  :p
Did you get a new phone? Your christmas day sounds exhausting!
I did manage to sit down and watch the soaps, I had recorded them cos I'm that sad! :p
I was impressed by the choccy warning on corrie...a useful message given the vast amounts of choc I'm sure were sat in peoples houses last night while they watched it.
Have you plunged it?!

Have I plunged it - how personal! :p Plunged, prodded the lot. Trouble is the sink is opposite end of bathroom to outside wall, so pipe goes round the bathroom, and is nicely boxed in behind wood . So next plan is to rip the wood off and see if we can disconnect at the elbow in the corner, oh joy. Cleaning your teeth over the bath isn't good for the old back I can tell you.

That sounds like hell of a job! I do not envy you that one after my exhausting sink unblocking exploits yesterday! Good luck! lol

Sounds lovely :)

Mine are still digesting Boxing Day dinner and they might come in later - had a bit of a sense of humour failure with the 4am and 6.30am toilet breaks on Christmas morning!!!

Belated Merry Christmas to you as well Vizslak. Sounds like you had a great day and all of your pups were quite spoiled with a long walk and their toys. We had a quiet day which also included a long walk with the beagles which was lovely.
