Well my lovely girl has navicular - she not quite sound enough to do dressage anymore as she is just ever so slightly unlevel - some judges may not see it but i can.
Well she can happily hack out (bute on ridden days) and although thats not really what i want to do, i cant really sell her (who would buy navicular horse and i have a responsibilty for her to keep her happy) i thought about getting a sharer to hack her say 3/4 times a week - would people be interested do you think in just hacking - bearing in mind she cant go out for hours and hours on end, no trotting on roads and choosing ground carefully to trot and canter, she is oober safe on roads, is very safe and confidence giving - wouldnt want a complete novice perhaps someone older who can ride but just wants to pootle - 1) whats my chances of finding said person and 2) is £25 a week too much to ask ??? they can do as little or as much stable chores - well not alot to do she lives out 247 so only poo picking to do. can have both sat and sun as i work weekends and couple days in week. I wouldnt ride her much but think i would like her ridden only 3-4 times a week.
i would be looking to get another horse so need help to finance 2.

I have a similar horse, not alot of good for riding, she is a good hack but because of her foot she has to be taken steady, cant trot on roads, not great on stony ground. I think there will be some people out there who are happy to share a horse such as yours, but I reckon there are less of them. You can try and see if you get any inquiries but it may be difficult getting someone who understands exactly what your horses restrictions are. Nothing ventured nothing gained as they say..

I think £25 is fine, especially considering that you're willing to give up both weekend days. When I was looking for a horse to share, they were all £25-£30. As far as the hacking only, I think that you'll be ok too. People always look for different attributes in horses so i'm sure you'll find someone. Good luck!

I had asharer for my pony, I didn;t ride her at all, and the sharer paid £15 per week. More than enough to cover shoes and any extras that I wouldn;t have had to pay for if she hadn;t been ridden.

Should be plenty of people who want to hack I'd say, esp on a nice horse!!

I would say that your price is too high. My last loan horse, who was old but sound and able to jump, compete locally etc cost me £12 for 5 days a week plus half the cost of shoeing. I did some chores on the days I had her. I eventually offered to pay £80 a month which the owner thought was a lot but she never rode her anyway, so she was basically a full loan.
I have a sharer for my current horse 1-2 days a week and I don't charge her anything! She is doing me a favour exercising him when I'm at work!
Maybe £15 a week?

i prob wouldnt ride her - perhaps once in a while - but she needs riding 3-4 times a week so they could effectively look after her as their own. She has remedial shoes so does cost me more to shoe which is why i though £25 which will cover shoes. She is very well behaved on her own or in company - if others gallop off she may try you just half halt and she canters behind - i have been on many fun rides where freinds horse has taken off and she stops miles away to see me cantering slowly behind in a bitless bridle.!!! dont get me wrong she has her moments - she is a horse!!! - but i do trust her with my life.

I had a sharer for Monty when he was in his late twenties. He was a lively hack but had arthritis so, like your pone, had to be ridden with care. His sharer had full use of him but I still fed him/looked after him. She paid £15 a week. I think you could try for £25 a week since there are plenty of more mature riders looking for a horse like that.....however I think you would have to be willing to accept slightly less.

Alternatively, if she costs you alot in remedial shoes, the sharer could pay for shoes rather than a weekly contribution. This might be better if you don't intend to do much riding yourself

I would loan a horse just for hacking. Although i would think twice about paying £25 only because i have seen adverts for share horses for less per week with more options with regards to riding. But that said, i would try at that price first as most lessons these days cost that so it is cost effective for a rider if they work it out.

I wish you luck finding someone, she sounds like a great horse :)
