My lovely share Connemara excelled himself today giving me the best present! It was his owners birthday and she wanted to go to the beach on her warmblood who has never been before. Smokey and I got to be nanny to him. What a blast! Three long canters in an empty beach at Hayling Island at 6.30am! Utter joy!! Horses are amazing when they’re going well. I have had an absolute ball! The warm blood didn’t put a foot wrong and flicked his medium trot toes while we cantered along beside. Then to finish off we had a gallop! Absolute bliss!!

Beaches are too flipping far away from here for such an adventure and I love, love beach gallops xx

Oh and just because he so awesome he loaded himself to come home. I was waiting at the bottom of the ramp for my friend to swing the partition across and the second it was across he ran up the ramp! Super unicorn pony! He’s just epic!
