My little criccieth bred section a mare has just found herself a cracking loan home - so thought I would post a happy story for once
I bought her in 2010 with a 4month old sec a colt foal at foot, and she was already in foal yet again unbeknownst to me!! Exactly 12months to the date of her previous foaling she delivered a stunning bay filly who turned out to be by a freisian stallion. Before realising she was in foal I had my young son riding her on and off lead rein and she never once put a hoof wrong.
I have kept the suprise filly and also have a young section d so made the decision to look for a loan home for the mare. Luckily enough a lovely lady and her friend came to see her with a view to having her for their children who are 2 and 3 (along with lots of other small children within the family!)
She is only a few miles away and both parties couldnt be happier - they have sent me lots of gorgeous pictures and thankyou messages; they've only had her a few weeks and for them to love her so much already makes me extremely happy!
Here she is with them
