Probably being very ignorant here but does anyone know if the Happy Mouth hanging cheek straight bar bit has a mullen mouth? Or just regular straight across?

Hanging Cheek

and if not... can anyone recomend a nice hanging cheek snaffle with a mullen mouth and no joints? I like the flexi mouth/happy mouth bits but anything soft would be good. (For preference something that costs under £30!)

Thanking you all muchly!

Its pretty straight. if you are looking for a true mullen mouth in the same type of material - try Flexi-mouth bits. i have tthe mouthpiece on a loose ring - as they are the only ones that come up in 6". and my horse loves it. will try to find a link.

It's slightly curved but not really a true mullen mouth

Yeah that is kinda what I thought. Most places describe it as a straight bar but a couple of places said it had a mullen mouth... didn't look that way in the pic though.

Right off to scour the internet for bits (again)
