Yeah - hes not totally sound, but he's very cheerful! He's had a lovely morning playing in the school, and wandering loose round the yard/grazing on the bank. He's looking pretty good for 25, I reckon!

Thank you everyone. He's such a lovely horse to have around, although I am maybe a teeny bit biased!
His afternoon wasn't as good as his morning - he was very alarmed when the vet turned up! I always get the willies when she's listening to his heart before she vaccinates him - even though I know exactly why she has to listen a bit longer than normal with him. There's nothing wrong with his heart - but his heart rate increases quite significantly the moment she walks into his stable - every single time!
