After a rocky few weeks as my once adorable puppy has now hit the terrible teens, we have had one of the best weekends ever. She did some lovely retrieves at gundog school and for the first time in a very long time we had no parading or backing off me and lying down to chew the dummy and she is so enthusiastic running out. Now to crack the boring sit stay 😆
Then we had mantrailing and she was amazing. She still gets a bit over-enthusiastic and I am having to learn so much about her body language but our trainer pushed her a bit this weekend with surface changes and more turns and she did brilliantly.
I am starting to see glimpses of what a fun dog she will turn out to be (as long as I don’t mess things up).

It's a lovely feeling when you can see that they're really starting to understand the different pieces of the puzzle.

Hope it continues mostly onwards and upwards, without too many hiccups on the way.
I’m sure we will have many bumps in the road but she really is turning into a lovely dog and so will, hopefully, be worth all the grey hairs!
