Finally...! Found a lovely private yard, just 3 miles from current yard and 3 miles closer to home!! Big outdoor school with floodlights, american barn stabling that is secure and immaculate, large fields, sand paddocks, similar hacking routes to my current yard and a really lovely YO and her mother that are very knowledgeable instructors, but nice with it! Also we get free use of the large indoor school on the big livery yard just a 2 minute hack away.
Hopefully now I will be able to school my boy properly and get out next summer to a few things! Most importantly though I will have peace of mind that he is cared for on the days I'm not there. All the horses are fed at 7am, get hay 4 times a day, lastly at 10pm and all year turnout. His new stable is big, clean (for now!) with a window at the back and rubber mats - far from the small, leaking box he's in now.
It's the perfect place for us
Giving my month's notice to leave tomorrow - bit apprehensive as I'll be the forth person to leave in the last 2 months. Should I give verbal or written notice?
