So I've been riding my share horse for a couple of months now. It's getting better and better!!!

I'm now riding her in a drop noseband and a sprenger full cheek with a lozenge, which she goes really well in, gets a little strong at times but I'm certain that's schooling and not discomfort. Thinking if trying a Micklem bridle but funds have run out.

We had the saddler out yesterday and my old dressage saddle fits the mare!!! It's an Isabel werth wintec with flair (not cair) and rode in it today and she loves it!!! Powering round lifting her back and obviously so much more comfortable. I need to get longer stirrup leathers too.

Silly pointless post which is mainly just about how much I'm LOVING having this horse in my life. She is such a lovely mare and her owner, my work friend, is so lovely and lets me just get on with it. I am not complete when I don't have a horse and it affects every other part of my life. I am so grateful to my friend for not only making this possible but helping me by looking after my daughter so I can ride her horse!! I know I pay but she doesn't have to do that and its just wonderful!!!

I'm a happy girl!!!

Pumpkin and apple cake if you get this far with this pointless post!!!
