Just got our baby girl back home yesterday. We've owned her from 3 months and she is now 4 1/2 so it was wonderful.

She has had a couple of set backs (hoof abscess and then hurting herself when stabled for said hoof abscess) so has only had a grand total of 3 weeks training but has done so well. Sarah Weston (RA) has helped us throughout our groundwork from foal-4 and then she went to Michelle Cure (Monty Roberts instructor) for the starting process. She is great to ride-a true western horse, brave and bold, fast and calm, and beautiful to boot!

Here she is at 5 months giving daddy a cuddle:

And here she is yesterday just before coming home with Michelle on board and a proud mummy and daddy:

She is very calm out and about. She has had maybe 10 rides out? I took her on her penultimate ride, open heathland, heavy traffic, bin day in high winds and another starter who was in an excitable mood and she was like an old pro. Michelle calls her a 'natural energy preserver' lol! She goes off the leg and voice beautifully though.

Her first ride out with my mare as escort...Philly was actually the calmer of the two: (Michelle on Bow at the front and her jockey Soph on Philly)
