Just a few things that have made me happy recently,
First there was the annual downsizing on the whole rug front, then it was wonderfully STILL LIGHT when I got home from the yard in the evening
and now, the real sure sign of spring, Ben has stopped bothering about his hay in his field and is going straight for the grass instead and the grass is noticeably greener then when he comes in he is eating about 1/3 less hay at night and drinking less because he's eating more grass and less hay.
Spring really is here
As an additional smug post I decided to change bens bed around, he always poos in a pile in the top right hand corner of his bed and pees right next to it, so three days ago I moved his bed to the left hand side of the stable, I have cut back on what I put down as I have matting and so he now has about 2 inches of pellets on top, I then had a cunning plan and sprinkle a fork of pellets where he pees and a fork where he poos, since then his bed has been bone dry! And needed only prettifying I just have to scoop out the bit of wet and the poo, I literally have about a level fork of wet to chuck out daily wish I'd thought of it ages ago
Simply pointless post but its really made me chuffed
