Further to my posts on finding a rider for our Warmblood. Thank you to everyone for their advice and suggestions.

I FOUND A RIDER :D :D :D

She is an A1 and does dressage. She hadn't competed much for a few years and now wants to get back into it.

She has ridden the girl twice and no bad behaviour. She has taken a long time to settle, gone around the arena with her head in the air at first but other than that she has been good. She has even given in and worked well towards the end of each ride :D :D

Tonight a lot of people on the yard came to tell me how well she was going and how beautiful our girl looks. Such a change from the comments about why I bother keeping a field ornament.

So I am very pleased and looking forward to getting out and competing later in the year. I miss my grooms job. At least the turnout wont be too different from showing, except we can have bling without waiting for evening performance :D :D

Anyone recommend a good site for researching dressage so I dont look like a complete numpty, its the one thing I have never had a go at myself.

Excellent, that's great news. Lots of rider and horse friendly dressage at Ledston and YRC, can vouch for themm but have also been informed that Jodhpurs Riding School who hold regular unaffilliated dressage events is friendly and quiet. I may see you out and about!

Glad it all worked out for you

Thank you

Thanks, will have a look at them, dont think we will be ready for a few weeks at least, but I might visit as a spectator, see what its all about :D

Sounds ideal, knew you would find someone right for her, now you just need to get the bling and matchy matchy sorted

Thank you, without your edits I probably wouldn't have got any replies :D I have the bling :D what the hell is matchy matchy and will it suit a skewbald :D

So Glad for you and hope to hear more about your girl in the coming months:D:D:D

Thank you

I'm off to Ledston on Sunday. Lovely venue and very friendly helpful organisers, which hopefully means my horse will behave himself!!

You need to venture into comp riders for true matchy matchyness, bandages, saddle cloths and ideally riders all turned out in the latest colour scheme.:D

Will they let me in now I have a dressage horse :D :D

I like the sound of matchy matchy :D Which of the latest colours for a Skewbald, I can see that my idea of all white would be boring.

Does anyone have any pics
