Bought new horse about 4 years ago.Things went pear shaped.Without wanting to go into too much detail, the people who I had lined up to help me with did not work out and on top of that my husbands health deteriorated.I hardly rode at all for two years.Husband sadly died and I was still looking for the right person to help and the right yard.Eventually I found it! My confidence had taken a nose dive because of the above.New trainer got me going on her mechanical horse which helped me start and build up core strength again. She schools horse for me and has hacked her out and got her fitter.I am just beginning to enjoy my riding again and I had my first mini hack out on her today.Despite being initially nervous I actually enjoyed it.Onwards and upwards.

Well done!!! Your confidence will grow more and more now!! ♥️

Good for you!:) And YAY for lovely trainers - finding the right one makes such a difference. I hope you have a lovely happy hacking summer.

And don't downplay your achievement by calling it a mini hack - a hack's a hack!
I hope you will enjoy all your subsequent hacks just as much
