I am feeling so much happier today as last night my very kind sister-in-law drove me down to the yard to see my girl 
Not being able to ride her is bad but not seeing her is much worse so I have been like a bear with a sore head for the past few days.
Last night was just brilliant. She was so happy to see me and very loving and affectionate with me. I sat on a chair outside her stable and she just kept lowering her head and nuzzling at me all the time. Even when my sister-in-law tried to brush her and move her she just wanted to be with me which made my heart all warm. It made me realise once again just how much I love her and what a big part of my life she is.
As for my foot, well I thought it was getting better as I woke up with no pain this morning but once I had walked down stairs I soon realised I was wrong
. Oh well just another 5 weeks to go!
Anyway to everyone who is fit and able to ride etc. just count yourselves lucky and enjoy your ponies or horses as you just never know what may be around the corner.
