I bought a tub recently as my horse is very gassy and wind sucks- he also coliced once and I thought it may help. However I've read the leaflet it came with and now think its not suitable for his symptoms. One thing it stated was poo would firm up (probably in a better way!) now that's not really something I want to happen tbh due to the colic episode. The rest sounds great though! Who's used it? For what symptoms and did you find it helpful?

I have used it for two years on a horse that we almost lost to colitis. She was started on Happy Tummy straight after she was discharged from the vet hospital and on the recommendation of the vet. I also use it on a pony who had irritation of the gut from not being wormed before we got her and it has really helped her. She has always had hardish droppings and since being on Happy Tummy they've stayed the same if not a little looser and she hasn't had any colic symptoms.

I used it on Deano, it definately made him less girthy but i actually stopped using it because it wasn't firming up his poo at all! Definately helped his tummy tho so might put him back on it.

I thought it sounded like it would help my gelding.
But he is so fussy he would eat it.
That was a year ago though. I changed him on to pyre feeds and it solved the problem.
Excellent stuff is pure feeds!
