Today, I have had Scoobie Dawg for two years!!
He is my one in a million dog, we've had some issues along the way, mainly to do with recall and him challenging authority (not like his owner at all
!) but they are getting resolved now, he can be let off in a safe place and he will come back 95% of the time, he is now trusted in not so safe places to be on a long line and he is getting better all the time. He is still not a 100% with other dogs but is once again improving on our many greyhound walks we go out on and all of our doggy friends (his best friends are two female Staffs!)
He has had no end of problems with his stomach and digestion as wellbut with a complete overhaul of his diet and he is now On skinners with natural yoghurt/raw egg/fish couple of times a week its getting better all the time.
Hopefully now he is 3 (his birthday was 16/10/10) he has stopped growing and will settle down a bit, he will always be an ignorant git I think though. He won't do something if he can't see the point in it
He has cost me an absolute fortune in vets bills from doing slightly daft things (running into a fence, then running into a wall and blowing his whiskers off TWICE!) lol.
Its been two years of tears, frustration, worry but above all, fun and laughter and its been amazing to watch him turn into a confident boy who enjoys life
Some piccies of the dude:
Asleep on the sofa with my Littlest brother:
