So happy that I just had to have tell the H&H world, so after selling my beloved boy 3 years ago due to nasty personal reasons, to a vile individual that sold him on to dealers, I chased him around the country and thanks to H&H seeking ads I managed to stay in touch with him from home to home and today the dream came true and I got him back. He is a bit of a pain on the ground, due to his massive trust issues with people beating him and mistreating him in his past he can be difficult to turn out and is a right divvy to catch, (4 hours has been known), but he never used to be this way with me, we where a great team that where very tight. It has broken my heart to see him go from home to home, (some of which where fantastic homes but his issues pushed people too far) but the latest lady was an angel in disguise, her daughter no longer had any interest in horses but she was so attached to him and knew he was such a deeply sensitive boy that she couldn't bare to just sell him on again so she offered him back to me, for free with all his tack and rugs, everything even money toward getting his feet done, she arranged his delivery for me and though it broke her heart to let him go she just wanted to see him back where he should be and will be loved and cherished till the day he dies. It is like a dream come true, yeh I know I have my work cut out gaining his trust again but I have all the time in the world for him and I know we'll get back to the place we where once at. Knowing that I'm getting up in the morning to go and see him is almost unbelievable :) Sooooooooooo happy :) :) :)

thanks folks, I'm super happy this morning, went to see him with some carrots (not thinking Id get very far),and after half an hour of pretty much ignoring him just giving him the odd carrot when he let me close enough, he let me stroke him all round, down his legs, I still remember his tickle spots so gave him scratches and in the end he followed me around the field, let me stroke his head, his ears and was nuzzling into my hair, not gonna lie, I cried like a right baby, but do'you what I don't care, it was the best feeling ever. One happy horse owner, back later for more of the same, just taking baby steps for now so as not to rush it but feeling positive :)
